Robert Reid became interested in printing when he was given a printing press during his childhood. His years as a student at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated in 1949 with a Bachelor of Commerce, were spent experimenting with his press, producing imaginative ads for campus events. Biographical note: Architect; William Hazard came to Tucson, Arizona in 1942 and was licensed as an architect in 1949. He worked with Scholer, Sakellar and Faller, then later with Terry Atkinson.
